It's cool and spotlessly clean hotel, with quiet atmosphere and magnificent location on a tram line which takes you two stops to the sbahn greifswalder strasse stop. Thank you very much for the stay - would return there.

The unique Art Deco theme throughout the hotel and my room added a charming aesthetic to my stay.
The lack of a fridge in the room made it inconvenient for storing drinks and snacks .

The location of the hotel is perfect. There is parking space and it is close to the S and U-bahn. Perfect for a visit to the center. Close to the hotel, there are some restaurants and shops.
The restaurant of the hotel is currently closed. It is however possible to take breakfast at the hotel. There is no lift in the hotel.

Room and hotel design, room space availability,
The hotel lack of a reception 24/24h, no one is avaialble during the all day to assist the guest (no possibility to reserve a restaurant, no possibility to call a taxi, no restaurant or bar in the hotel , no room service, nothing related to a 4 stars hotel). The hotel is a residence, no a hotel and it's unacceptable!!!!!!! Very poor and limited breakfast.staff is absence and completely useless. Far from Ubahn

Things I wish I knew before I tried it
Expect a smooth check-in with self-service after hours, and enjoy the spacious, clean rooms at great prices. The location is a real gem, just a 15-minute walk from the heart of the city. But be prepared for noise disturbances from both the street and fellow guests!

Really sweet staff welcomed us. The only problem was to find parking spot, especially when arriving by big family station car on Friday evening as we did. However, we were lucky to find a free spot nearby, and hotel provided with parking ticket and saved us 24eur per day that we'd had to pay otherwise. From outside we couldn't guess that the room will be so comfy, clean, simple and stylish, with adequately big bathroom. The breakfast buffet quite good and charming host even prepared for me a cappuccino. Later, a really nice girl who speaks excellent English provided us with some great advices for city tour (that was our first trip to Berlin). Not just recommending, I am sure we found our accommodation for the next visit(s) to Berlin.

I really appreciated the unique Art Deco theme throughout the hotel. The design gave a lovely ambiance. My room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable double bed. I loved the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. They added a touch of luxury. Self-check-in was easy, which I found very convenient late at night. I did notice a lack of presence from the staff . I hardly saw anyone and my tea supplies weren't replenished, a bit of a letdown. The corridors felt a bit eerie at night, especially when returning to my room alone.

We have seen many hotels during our city trips and this is typically how a hotel should be. Friendly hosts, nice ambiance, beautifull breakfast, near city area Prenz Lauerberg, clean and silence rooms and wifi free of charge.
